The purpose of this lab is to study the application named Pspice. Students will learn how to use Pspice to analysis different circuits and use it to find the Thevenin and Maximum Power Transfer to a Load.
Procedure:
Analysis simple circuits:
Using Parameter to graph the maximum power to the Load:
Using Parameter Sweep to find Maximum Power |
Using Pspice to find Thevenin and Norton equivalent:
Vth = zero intercept = 10 V
Rth = slope = (13.3 -10)/1 = 3.3 Ohm
IN = zero intercept = 3 A ;
GN = slope = (3.3 - 3)/1 = 0.3 S
Maximum Power Transfer to RL:
Maximum power: 7.5W
